One of the things that always frustrates me is when someone can’t admit they’re wrong. It’s a pretty simple thing to do, really. You stand up, you clear your throat, and you say, “You know…I’m human. I made a mistake and i was wrong. I’m sorry that my actions (whatever they were) were bad, but it turns out they were.”
Pretty simple stuff unless you’re the president of the United States. Then when something goes wrong, say, like training rebel forces in Syria, you have to wag your finger and tell the world that you were really skeptical about this working in the first place, and you really were never for it. Huh?
Yup. That’s what our wonderful commander-in-chief said yesterday. He didn’t apologize. He didn’t say he was wrong. He said he was skeptical the whole way through about training Syrian rebels as a “proxy army” to fight our battles for us because he was too chicken to do so himself. So, apparently, the commander-in-chief isn’t really the commander-in-chief. I mean, if he was, he’d be the guy calling the shots, right? And if he were skeptical about spending a half BILLION dollars of our hard-earned tax money, because he didn’t think the plan was going to work, he really wouldn’t have given the go ahead, right? UNLESS…
Unless maybe, he’s not calling the shots? Unless maybe the military brass is really calling the shots? Hmmm. Makes you wonder if we’ve had a junta ruling our country for the last seven years doesn’t it?
Look, Obama screwed up. He really screwed up. His foreign policy is a shambles. I’ve said that for years. So has every other credible source from here to China and back. And now he’s getting shown up on the world stage by Vladimir Putin who can taken 30,000 of his own troops, his own air force and a couple of ships in the Black Sea, and pummel the living crap out of the four or five Syrian rebels that we were supposed to have spent all that money training. It would be more manly and certainly more adult if Obama would have just said, “Yeah, I gave the go ahead to do it and it didn’t turn out as well as I thought it would have. I’m sorry for that.” But he’s too much of a balless wonder to admit to being wrong. Not that anyone would confuse him with God, or Jesus Christ, or even Mohammed for cryin’ out loud!
It’s time to be a man Bobo. It’s time to stand on your own two feet and tell the American public what they already know. You’re not the Greek god that you thought you were when you first got nominated in Denver. You’re nowhere close. In fact, you’re pretty much a sorry excuse for an executive of any kind. And you’ve got no courage, no honor, no dignity, no credibility. You’re a loser. At least you can do is finally admit it to the American people. You won’t be saying anything that we don’t already know!
Carry on world…you’re dismissed!
