There is this unspoken rule among ex-presidents. They aren’t supposed to comment on their successors for at least one year in order to give them time to get used to the job and to get their feet wet. You can look back pretty much as far back as you want, and that’s pretty well the way it goes…even Bill Clinton honored it when George W. Bush beat his Vice President, Al Gore in a contested race that had to be settled by the Supreme Court.
But this year is going to be different apparently. Bobo Obama, the world’s second most famous clown, had originally said that because George W. Bush was so gracious to him that in not criticizing him during his presidency, that he would bestow that honor to his successor, apparently has had second thoughts when he sees who that successor is. And so, in typical liberal fashion, it was a good idea, as long as the successor was the person he wanted to become president.
While at a press conference in Lima, Peru, Obama said, “As an American citizen who cares deeply about our country, if there are issues that have less to do with the specifics of some legislative proposal or battle or go to core questions about our values and ideals, and if I think that it’s necessary or helpful for me to defend those ideals, I’ll examine it when it comes.”
So much for tradition!
Actually, you could have garnered his behavior in this instance from past behavior. Hell, you can garner his behavior from pretty much any liberal’s behavior. As long as things are going their way, they are fine. As long as you agree with their weird way of thinking, they’re great with that. But cross them, or disagree with them, or tell them they are wrong, and they turn into the Wicked Witch of the West. And just like most liberals, Obama’s penchant for rigidity in his ideas and chasing those ideas no matter how wrong they are, are evident of someone who is totally set in their ways and totally unyielding. THAT is why he’s now going to pop off when Trump dismantles his entire 8 year legacy. Of course, the simple fact that the legacy was 180 degrees off base of what mainstream America thinks to begin with doesn’t figure into his equation…just ego and bull-headedness.
So the lesson to learn from this is, you can’t trust a liberal to do the right thing when faced with seeing what they perceive to be right is being challenged. They scream and blame the right, and swear that it’s “the children” or “the poor” or some other down-trodden part of society that will suffer, when in fact, as we all know by now, it’s not the children or the down-trodden that suffer. It’s America that suffers because of every liberal policy that has ever come down the pike.
No, America made the best decision out of two bad candidates this time around. Obama is a sore loser that can’t stand the fact that someone of his own party has betrayed him by not winning. Forget that history was on Trump’s side. Forget that Hillary was possibly the worst candidate in American history. And forget the fact that most of what Obama has accomplished in the past eight years was terrible for America and needs to be fixed. The rest as they say, will be left for history.
Carry on world…you’re dismissed!
