Need A Seat?

Are you thinking of attending today’s inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 45th president of the United States? If so, you may think you’re out of luck unless you have some really good DC connections. Fear not! As a public service…I’ve procured some 50 seats on the dais that may not allow you to sit there, but they will most definitely be open. That’s because there are 50 un-American representatives in congress who have deemed themselves unworthy to attend such a gala, and have given up their seats. Want to know who they are? Here you go!

John Lewis (D-GA), Steve Cohen (D-TN), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Don Beyer (D-VA), Mark Takano (D-CA), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Ted Liu (D-CA), Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), John Conyers (D-MI), Mark Desaulnier (D-CA), Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Kurt Schrader (D-OR), Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), William Lacy Clay (D-MO), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Jos Serrano (D-NY), Judy Chu (D-CA), Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Jared Huffman (D-CA), Katherine Clark (D-MA), Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Karen Bass (D-CA), Keith Ellison (D-MI), Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), Mark Pocan (D-WI), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Marcia Fudge (D-OH), Al Green (D-TX), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Anthony Brown (D-MD), Chellie Pingree (D-ME), John Yarmouth (D-KY), Dwight Evans (D-PA), Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Grace Napolitano (D-CA), Raul Ruiz (D-CA), Adam Smith (D-WA), Darren Sotto (D-FL), Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), G.K. Butterfield (D-NC), Joaquin Castro (D-TX), Tony Cardenas (D-CA), Mike Doyle (D-PA), Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH), Donald M. Payne (D-NJ), Alma Adams (D-N.C.), Brendan F. Boyle (D-PA), Robert A. Brady (D-PA), Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Jerry McNerney (D-CA), and Peter A. DeFazio (D-OR).

Of course, it is their God-given right not to attend…after all, it’s not in their job description that they HAVE to attend inaugurations. But it does seem to show a certain degree of immaturity, a lack of decorum, a, shall we say, cry-baby attitude that is prevalent in this day and age with some (not all) liberal factions in our country.

So, if you’re looking for a seat at today’s inauguration, you’ve got two choices; you can do what I’m going to do and sit and watch the thing from the comfort of a chair, MUCH more comfortable that any available at the Capitol, or you can fight the crowds and try and get one of those fifty seats, which I’m told will be filled by others and not allowed to go unused.

Isn’t it funny that all of those seats will be vacated by Democrats? Is it just me, or does the left show this unyielding propensity to want to cry and kick and scream every time they don’t get their way? It’s ok for you to agree with them, but when you don’t, you’re branding “illegitimate” or some other stupid made up phrase that their wordsmiths have coined. Why can’t these people just grow up and act like the adults they are supposed to be? It seems to me that for a party that wants to “unify America”, they are off to a pretty poor start. Maybe that’s because they aren’t in it for America? Maybe that’s because they are only in it for fame and fortune for themselves? Maybe that’s because they really are the frauds they accuse others of being? Just sayin’!

Carry on world…you’re dismissed!
